How this list is built and kept current

Founders

  • Expected: early signals from the table above, recorded with the date first seen, the likely event and window, signal strength, and how much media coverage exists.
  • Revenue surge: unlisted, independent companies whose FY26 revenue at least doubled from an FY25 base of ₹5 crore or more (registry financials). A proxy for liquidity to come, not a liquidity event itself.
  • Promoters section (with revenue surges): private, promoter-owned companies whose EBITDA at least doubled from a base of ₹5 crore or more. FY26 vs FY25 where FY26 accounts are filed; otherwise FY25 vs FY24. PSUs, listed companies and their subsidiaries, multinational arms and big-group SPVs are excluded.
  • Announced: filings, SEBI approvals, anchor books, listings, private rounds, exits and promoter block sales since May 2026.
  • Personal liquidity = the founder's own shares sold × issue or deal price. Shared family pools are counted once in totals. Estimates are marked.

Employees

  • Profiles: the highest-priority people carry a short profile built from public sources (interviews, filings, press, public LinkedIn snippets): key milestones, interests and conversation openers, and investment maturity. Every point links to its evidence. Look for the "Profile" tag or tick "Profiled only".
  • Dated, sourced moves or promotions between 20 Oct 2025 and 20 Oct 2026, net worth ₹25 crore or more. "Global → global" marks moves from one foreign-headquartered firm to another, in India.
  • ESOP buybacks (in Employee moves): senior, non-founder staff with enough tenure to hold vested options at companies that announced an employee buyback in the same window; floor ₹20 crore. Eligibility is inferred from role and tenure, not confirmed sales, and the buyback proceeds are not in the model.
  • Net worth is an estimate, not reported wealth: pay by role, level and country across the whole career, split into cash and stock; half of post-tax cash saved, stock vesting over four years with half kept after tax, all grown at 12% a year. Shown as savings, vested equity and unvested equity.
  • Finance, banking, private equity and wealth roles are hidden by default; they are usually well served already.
  • A weekly scan adds new names only; existing records and your notes are left alone. LinkedIn X-ray searches are used only to confirm public titles. No home addresses, personal contacts or sensitive personal data are held.
